Kalyan Dechiraju ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the BabyTracker mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use BabyTracker on iOS and iPadOS devices. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Use.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact us at [email protected].
BabyTracker stores the following types of information locally on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account (if you enable iCloud sync). We do not collect, transmit to our servers, or have access to this data. All information remains under your direct control on your device and in your personal iCloud storage.
We do not collect sensitive personal data beyond health-related tracking information that you enter and that remains stored locally on your device. Payment credentials are handled directly by Apple and are never transmitted to us or stored on our servers.
Since your tracking data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud (not on our servers), we do not directly use or process this data. The app uses your locally stored information to:
We do process limited information for app operations:
We use this limited operational data to maintain and improve the Service and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data. Since your tracking data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud (not on our servers), we do not have access to or share your tracking data. We share limited operational information only in the following circumstances:
These Apple services process data on your behalf according to Apple's privacy policies. We do not use third-party servers or databases to store your tracking data.
If you are a Premium subscriber and choose to enable Family Sharing, you may share baby tracking data with specific family members or caregivers who also have the app installed. Shared data is transmitted via iCloud and is subject to the same privacy protections. You control who has access through iCloud sharing features and can revoke sharing at any time.
We may disclose information when required by law (e.g., subpoenas, court orders) or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, investigate fraud or abuse, or safeguard users.
If we engage in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued protections consistent with this Privacy Policy.
All tracking data is stored locally on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account (if iCloud sync is enabled in your device settings). We do not store your data on our servers. Your data remains accessible within the app until you delete it. You can delete individual entries, baby profiles, or all app data at any time through the app settings or by uninstalling the app. Deleted data may remain in iCloud backups according to Apple's backup policies.
We implement security measures to protect your information, including:
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and device passcode. Since we do not store your data on our servers, your data security primarily depends on your device security and iCloud security settings.
BabyTracker is designed for parents and caregivers to track information about babies and young children. The app does not collect personal information directly from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). All accounts must be created and managed by adults. If you believe a child has provided personal data directly, contact us so we can delete it.
We are based in the United States. Data stored in iCloud may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where Apple operates its data centers, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. Apple's data processing is governed by their privacy policies and applicable data protection agreements.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Apple Support, privacy policies). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date and providing additional notice (e.g., in-app prompt or email). Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective signifies your acceptance of the updated policy.
